Aromatherapy: a Garden of Wellness
Essential Oils are nature's gift of health, healing, balance and vitality.
Welcome to the world of nature’s healing medicine. Essential oils have been used medicinally, as well as for cleansing, anointing and invoking conscious meditation, for thousands of years, throughout many ancient and modern cultures. They are the volatile liquids that are distilled from plants (and their respective parts such as seeds, bark, leaves, stems, roots, flowers, fruit, etc.). Each oil has incredible wellness and healing properties.
There are many companies that produce essential oils and if you go into your local health food or new age store, you’ll probably find a plethora of oils to choose from. However, it’s important to consider the quality of oils that you’re using. Only pure, therapeutic grade oils will produce desired results, and many oils out there have chemical substitutes to make them cheaper. In this case, you get what you pay for. Therapeutic grade oils will be more expensive because there’s no skimping in the distillation, and every variable, which can affect the chemical constituents of the oil, is considered. As we understand the power of essential oils in the realm of holistic healthcare and the vibrations that each carries, we understand the need for the purest, therapeutic grade oils, of which there are no substitutes.
One company, which produces pure, therapeutic essential oils, is Young Living. I’ve decided to join this company as a distributor, because I not only believe in the products that they offer, but in the values that they uphold. They believe in and support holistic health practices; pure, organic, sustainable living; abundance; integrity; expansion; wellness and healing of body, mind, emotion and spirit; and did I say abundance? – hey, whadaya know - I believe in that, too! And above all, they produce some of the highest quality essential oils in the world. I use them in my massage practice, in my daily life, and am pleased to offer them to you. Have a look at this video to get an introduction to Young Living Essential Oils and how to use them. Or head over to my Young Living website to obtain further information and to order products.
Oh, and I also offer a type of aromatherapy bodywork called the Raindrop Technique. Please click here to get a full description.
